We are Trade Apps Limited and operate under the names of Gas Certificate App and Electrical Certificate App.
Security is a priority for us at Trade Apps Limited and we understand your data is precious.
We’re committed to protecting your personal data and have appropriate security measures in place to make sure that happens.
We always strive to be transparent on the way we protect your data. This document highlights how we protect your data inside our network.
You Own your Data
As a customer of Trade Apps Ltd the data entered by you remains your property and Trade Apps will never use or make available for use any of this information without your permission. You also have control over the data as well as the level of access and permissions that you give colleagues/staff members to Trade Apps Applications. Trade Apps can only access your data for the following purposes
- Assist with a resolution of a system issue or error.
- Enable correct backup / restoring of the system.
- Ensure the system working as intended, maintenance of systems and databases.
Keeping Data secure
We will use technical and organisational measures to safeguard your data, for example:
To access to your Trade Apps account, it is controlled by a password and a username that is unique to you.

Right to access your data
- The user has the right request access and receive a copy of their personal data and other supplementary information.
- We keep your data as long as you’re using Trade Apps applications and for a necessary period of time afterwards in accordance with our data retention policies and practices or until you request that the Data be deleted. Following that, we’ll make sure it’s deleted or anonymised.
SSL Encryption
- Trade App’s servers have SSL Certificates issued by leading certificate authorities, so all data transferred between users and the service is encrypted.
Secure Database and Backups
- Your data is stored in our Datacentre located in London
- Your data is protected with bank level encryption with hardware / software firewalls in Trade Apps network.
- Daily backups stored in different locations.
- Live replication to disaster recovery.
- Automatic failover.
Where we share data
We might transfer and store the data we collect from you somewhere outside the European Economic Area (‘EEA’). People who work for us or our suppliers outside the EEA might also process your data. We may share data with organisations and countries that:
- The European Commission say have adequate data protection
- We’ve agreed standard data protection clauses with
- The Privacy Shield which requires them to provide similar protection to personal data shared between the EEA and the US.
Card payment details
We don’t store your debit/credit card information. All our payments are processed through Stripe or https://stripe.com/gb or Apple Pay https://www.apple.com/uk/apple-pay/
if you do choose to pay for the service by debit/credit card, your card details are not stored by Trade Apps Ltd and cannot be accessed by Trade App’s staff. Your credit card details are encrypted and securely stored by Stripe. The system can only access your last 4 digits of your card number, which is to reference the card that you’re using for the system. You can view this in your profile settings.
